Our story

     “Tmena” is a clothing and accessories brand inspired by the depth of Georgian culture. Tmena’s wish is to remind Georgians around the world of their roots, history, and identity — to fill them with pride every time they wear our designs.

     At the same time, Tmena aims to spark curiosity in those who know little or nothing about Georgia. Through our artwork, symbols, and stories woven into every product, we hope to inspire people from other cultures to learn more about our country and discover the beauty behind Georgian heritage.

     The name “Tmena” comes from the Georgian word for patience.
It perfectly reflects the emotions and experiences a migrant goes through after leaving their homeland. Every Tmena product carries a living fragment of Georgia’s soul — a story, a memory, a symbol of who we are.
For Georgians, it becomes a gentle reminder of our extraordinary past, our resilience, and the pride that connects us no matter where we are in the world.
For those from other cultures, it offers a window into Georgia’s rich and ancient heritage — a small historical lesson woven into fabric, inviting them to discover the beauty of our roots.

     In the end, Tmena’s purpose is to show the world that despite our small population of just three million and our difficult geopolitical history, Georgia remains one of the oldest nations on Earth — one of the first to embrace Christianity — a people who not only survived, but continue to speak our truth in our own ancient language, with our own unique alphabet.
